CLAPPING, foot stomping and singing will bring the Bijou Theatre to life as young and old join in with Esperance Public Library's Storytime event in July.  The show is aimed at young children aged three to eight and families with two performances across July 26 and 27. Join a range of local performers for a dazzling hour of live storytelling, dancing, singing, music, clowns and Mr Scribble live on stage, under the guidance of emcee Derek Clarke.

Storytime is a partnership between the Esperance Public Library and the Esperance Theatre Guild, showcasing the talents of local people. The event promotes the love of books and reading as well as the fun that can be had at the library.

New to the stage this year is Julian Hockley, who will showcase his talents as a clown to delight his audience.  Hi Vibe, Mr Scribble and gymnasts will also be popular with the kids. Marni Topping and Louise Morrison from the library will lead this year's story telling component, while Kat Gray's singing talents will top off the entertainment.

Both shows 26, 27 July will be matinees at 2pm. Tickets will be available at the library from July 1.

If you would like to get involved or want further information contact Marnie Topping at the Esperance Public Library on 9083 1500.
